Meet the Team

Dr. Daugherty

A bit about me…

I grew up in Webster Groves with two brothers and a sister – I was second in line. After high school, I could not decide if I wanted to pursue a career in science or art, but I found a profession that applies both: dentistry. I graduated from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 2005, and have been a dentist in St. Louis for over 17 years.  I have an awesome husband, Ryan, who is tons of fun to hang out with and we have been married for 7 years.  We have two children, Charlotte (7) and Oliver (5), who are both funny and snuggly, which is a good combination. I love to travel, read books, go for runs, and draw cartoons, AND I am pretty darn good at paddle ball, but I spend most of my time trying to make sure my children become good people.

Recently, my biggest change in life was buying this dental practice in the Spring of 2022. It has been an awesome experience, and I am very proud of who we are as a team and what we offer our patients. A shout out to my team members who have been nothing but supportive and SO hard-working since I came on board. And I thank them for laughing at my bad jokes. Thanks guys!

Destiny

I am a Dental Assistant here at STLDW. I graduated in March 2022 and have been loving the world of dentistry. I’ve gained a lot of knowledge and developed great relationships with our patients thus far.

Not only am I a Dental Assistant, I am also a St. Louis Blues Ice girl/Cheerleader. I’ve been on the Blue Crew for 6 seasons now and a Captain of the team for 3. I’ve experienced so many awesome opportunities. Being a part of the Stanley Cup celebrations is probably my top most memorable by far.

I can’t wait to see/meet you at your next treatment!

Sammie

My name is Sammie Domagalski. I am a Registered Dental Hygienist at STLDW.  I was born and raised in South St. Louis County with my two brothers. After high school, I went to St. Louis Community College-Forest Park for dental hygiene school. I graduated from hygiene school in 2008 and started working at this practice. In 2009, I married my high school sweetheart, Ryan.  We have two beautiful children together, Ava (11) and Jack (8). We also have two Boston Terriers that I absolutely adore, Bernice and Biff. Outside of work, during the summer, you’ll find us poolside!  We love summer at our house. Any other time, I keep busy with our children and their love for all things dance and hockey.

I love the relationships I have created over the last 14 years with my patients.  I genuinely care for each one of them.  I hope to see you at your next cleaning.

Dusty

My name is Dusty. I was born and raised in Imperial, MO by wonderful parents who have been married for 60 years. I have three sisters and a brother. My husband and I do not have children but we have ten nieces and nephews and eleven great nieces and nephews that are our world. We spend most of our free time with family either at my parents property off the Meramec River or our place off the Black River. After high school, I went to LaPlante School of Cosmetology. I did hair for 5 years before wanting to make a change. I ended up working at Kirkwood Dental Arts where I was trained as a Dental Assistant. I have now been working in the dental field for 26 years and can honestly say I still love what I do.

Brooke

Hi, my name is Brooke Randolph and I am one of the Registered Dental Hygienist here at STLDW! I grew up in Concord, North Carolina with my parents and two sisters. Right after high school I moved to St Louis to go through a dental assisting program. I met my husband while I was in school but moved back to NC and worked as a dental assistant for two years. I fell in love with the dental field and decided to pursue hygiene. I moved back to Missouri and completed my degree in Dental Hygiene in 2010 from Missouri College. I have been at this practice since I’ve graduated and have truly grown to love my job, my coworkers, and my patients!

I have been married to my husband Jacob for 8 years and have two amazing little girls, Charlotte (6) and Mila (4). I also have two chihuahuas, Ellie and Yoda, and most currently a new Beta fish named Peacock.

In my free time I love to travel. I’m a true beach girl at heart and really miss not living a couple hours from the coast. I also love to read however, with two young kids I struggle to find the time. I have a 40 minute commute to work so I’ve taken up listening to audio books on my drive and it’s something I’ve really grown to enjoy! I look forward to seeing you all at your next cleaning appointment!

Little Nemo

Little Nemo is a newer addition to the fish family. He was picked out and named by Dr. Daugherty’s son Oliver and was chosen because of his stripes and polka dots. Clown fish don’t establish a gender until they have matured and adapted to their new environment, so we don’t yet know if it is a boy or a girl. Stay tuned. Little Nemo is very active and is always full of energy, a great addition to the team.

Ruby

Ruby was named by Dr. Daugherty’s daughter Charlotte and she named this beautiful fish after her aunt and uncle’s Staffordshire Bull Terrier. This Lyretail Anthias fish was chosen for its beautiful colors.  We like Ruby because she seems social and is always close to the front of the tank so we get to see all of her colors up close.  We can’t wait to see how big she gets.

Grandma's Fish

Dr. Daugherty’s mom picked out a group of Blue Green Chromis fish so we could have a school of fish moving through the waters of the tank.  While these fish rarely stick together and have proven to be quite independent, we still consider them a school of fish on principle.  They are lively, energetic, and fun to watch.

Quality Dental Care in West St. Louis

While our priority is providing a good experience for our patients, we also take pride in our quality of dental treatment.

Professionals

We have all been practicing dentistry for many years and with that comes skill and knowledge to provide a higher level of dental care.

State of the Art Technology

We have some of the newest technology in dental treatment, which gives us more information than other dental practices allowing for better diagnosis and better management of treatment.

3D Cone Beam

This machine provides small-scale 3-dimensional images, similar to those found in CAT scans (only on a smaller scale). This gives us much more information, when a 2-dimensional x-ray is not sufficient enough for diagnosis or treatment.

Intraoral Cameras

We also have intraoral cameras in each treatment room to show patients magnified pictures or videos of their teeth. This allows patients to see what we can see during our examinations, sometimes making patients say dentistry is interesting and even cool! These are just some of many types of advanced equipment and technology we have at our practice.

Experienced

We have all been practicing dentistry for many years and with that comes skill and knowledge to provide a higher level of dental care.
