Dr. Victoria Daugherty grew up in Webster Groves, attended Ursuline Academy in Kirkwood, received her Bachelor of Science at Rockhurst University in Kansas City.
She then went on to earn her dental degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry in May 2005, and completed a one-year general practice residency (GPR) at Mercy Hospital St. Louis. She later received her fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry. She has been practicing dentistry for over 18 years with knowledge in hospital dentistry, sleep apnea/snoring treatment, and aesthetic dentistry. She has achieved her Mastery 1 Certification in Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM Qualified Dentist status), she is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, and she has completed the Aesthetic Excellence course through Dental Ceramics Inc.
FAGD stands for Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. Earning Fellowship takes dedication to dental continuing education (CE) beyond graduation. Only about 6 percent of general dentists in the U.S. and Canada are AGD Fellows. When you see a dentist with FAGD after their name, you can rest assured that they care about knowing the latest techniques and best practices in dentistry. AGD Fellows practice these techniques in a classroom setting multiple times a year — not every dentist does this.
Dr. Victoria Daugherty practices general dentistry, providing general restorative treatment, sleep apnea/snoring appliances, Invisalign, veneers, Perio Protect Trays, professional teeth whitening, root canals, extractions, dental implants, dentures and partial dentures.
She and her husband have a 7-year-old daughter and a 5-year-old son. As a family, they love going on walks, visiting local playgrounds, and going camping. Dr. Daugherty enjoys running, traveling, and greeting card illustration.
